This Thompson Center manufactured early variation (shorter) lock plate screw is for the early Hawken muzzle loading rifle which uses the smaller first variation lock plate screw bushing that fits in the recess of the wood and is flush at the surface when mounted to the stock. This screw measures just under 1 1/2" long and rates in very good condition with light wear. (file photo)
